Troy Deutsch (Writer/Director)

Troy Deutsch is a filmmaker and playwright from rural Minnesota living in New York City. He studied with Nicky Silver as part of The Vineyard Theatre’s Playwriting Workshop. BROWN FISH is based on a short play from his collection of one-acts, IN A TILTED PLACE, which premiered at IRT Theater in 2015.

Rachel Moulton (Actor)

Rachel is an actor born in Tennessee raised throughout the Southeast who currently resides in New York City with her 11 year-old jackahuahua rescue dog Sherman. Rachel and Troy met in 2012 shooting a commercial together in Miami, FL. Rachel appeared in BROWN FISH as part of Troy's 2015 collection of one-acts IN A TILTED PLACE at IRT. In New York she has appeared Off-Broadway with The Mint Theatre Company and at the Theatre at St. Clements as well as being a part of the original cast of SEX TIPS FOR STRAIGHT WOMEN FROM A GAY MAN. Less than a year after moving to NYC Rachel left to perform for 18 months as Dory in FINDING NEMO:THE MUSICAL at Walt Disney World. Regionally she has performed at Pioneer Theatre Company, Virginia Stage Company, Syracuse Stage, JW Engeman Theatre, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, Florida Rep, and five seasons at Florida Studio Theatre where she most recently performed in the George Brant's one-woman show GROUNDED. Sean Kazarian (Actor)

Sean first met Troy while they were students in the Actor Training Program at the University of Utah. He was super lucky to get to work on the play BROWN FISH as part of Troy's 2015 collection of one-acts IN A TILTED PLACE at IRT. Other NY acting credits include: IRT, The Directors Company, The Flea, Naked Angels, Scandinavian American Theater Company, and The Humanist Project. Regional acting credits Include: Shakespeare & Company, Intiman Theater, Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, Salt Lake Shakespeare. Milwaukee Repertory Theater, and Pioneer Theater Company. Training: University of Utah Actor Training Program.

 
 

Brian Long (Producer)

Brian Long is a film and theater producer as well as an artist manager. His films include A TREE. A ROCK. A CLOUD. directed by Karen Allen, BROWN FISH, directed by Troy Deutsch and the upcoming films A MY NAME IS, LIFE AFTER YOU and HAMLET IN BED. Brian served as the Managing Director of Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, an Obie-Award winning producer of Off-Broadway Plays for nine years. During his tenure, Rattlestick produced over 40 World Premieres by some of our nation’s most important playwrights, including Annie Baker, Sam Hunter, Jesse Eisenberg, Jose Rivera, Adam Rapp, Craig Lucas and many others.
